Thank you Joe for opening up your home to my friends and I for an unforgettable 30th birthday weekend. The home was gorgeous and the backyard and speakeasy were the best parts! Everything was even better than described online. One piece of advice if you are planning to spend a lot of time in the backyard: BRING BUG REPELLENT! There were some overly friendly mosquitos, but other than that the backyard was amazing and spacious.

Beautiful European aesthetic - thoughtfully decorated, attention to all details, quality toiletries, comfortable bed and pillows. Impeccably clean! Perfect location - just steps to the beach. Josh was attentive and available - great communication. Nothing!

We stayed here with 10 girls for my sister’s bachelorette party, and it was absolutely perfect! The home is beautiful, with décor and a vibe that suited our group perfectly. The backyard was peaceful and relaxing, and we felt very safe with the gated property. The location was also convenient for getting around San Diego. Joe was super responsive and made everything seamless. We would definitely stay here again.

The highlight of the place is the location which is literally minutes to the beach. The provided beach chairs and umbrella were super helpful as well. There were also bikes provided although we couldnt make use of them this time. Would live to come back to the same bnb. The kitchenette had a microwave oven, water heater, mini refrigerator and a coffee machine which were all in great condition. The bathroom is spacious, clean and ventilated.

We really had a fun time here. Joe is an amazing host. His checkin and checkout instructions were so helpful and detailed. The balcony is amazing. We played our portal piano in the balcony when the sun set. You can see the sea from the balcony. It is close to almost every place - beaches, sea world and San Diego zoo. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our time at Kirra Villa! Our stay was 10/10! Joe was incredibly welcoming and responsive, and the space felt like a private oasis. It was so peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of intention with every detail. It was exactly what our bachelorette party needed and it set the stage for a beautiful weekend full of celebration. Highly recommend!

This Airbnb was definitely the nicest place my friends and I have stayed at for SD Comic Con weekend. It's so beautifully decorated! It accommodated all 12 of us well - the multiple single beds were perfect for us. Having 3 bathrooms was helpful as well. We were able to fit a few cars within the gated driveway. Check in and entering the gate was clear and easy to use. The property has so many amenities, nothing was lacking. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the backyard - we used it to relax every night after the convention. We either walked to the convention center (~20mins) or walked to one of the nearby MTS lines (~12 mins) to get around. I'd definitely recommend this place for those with a larger party or want a nice aesthetically pleasing place to enjoy on vacation.

Joe was an excellent host with speedy communication if needed. The backyard was felt like an oasis and the house was very clean and comfortably slept all of our guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

The location and amenities were amazing. We loved how cute the place was, very clean and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for such a lively area. Plus the private parking spot and bikes to use were major bonuses. One of the tires on one bike was a little low on air and when we messaged Josh if there was a bike pump available, he responded immediately and took the bike himself to get it aired up before we took it out for the day. Top notch service and accommodations!

Josh was incredibly kind and responsive. We had an website error while booking, and he made sure we were able to rebook!! The place was clean and very cute, and it’s definitely one to add to your list if you’re planning on staying in South Mission Beach!
